Rich Media Ads Boost Site Visits and User Action
A new research released in march 2012 and conducted by MediaMind shows how rich media and video affects site visits and user action. The study analyzed 24,000 creatives with more than 12 billion impressions, and here are some of the key results:
• Rich media ads boost website visits by three-fold and rich media with video increases visits by six-fold.
• For direct response, results show that users are four times more likely to click and visit the advertiser site after watching rich media ads versus standard banners and are nine times more likely after viewing rich media with video.
