In the US, for the first time ever mobile usage has overtaken TV viewing

US consumers now spend more time with their mobile devices than they do watching TV, according to a recent study provided by Flurry, a provider of mobile data analytics.

For the first time, mobile devices have overtaken TV as the screen of choice among Americans. During the third quarter 2014, American consumer spent an average of 2 hours and 57 minutes a day on a mobile device, compared to 2 hours and 48 minutes in front of a TV set.
