The French Market Will Dominate European Online Video Revenues

While online video has become a mainstream online activity, paying for online video content has not as yet become so widespread. However, even if it is still only a budding market, the online video market in Western Europe is forecasted to be one of the fastest-growing online paid content categories over the next five years by increasing at a CAGR of 20.5% over the period 2011-2016.
According to Forrester Research, France will remain the main market for online video content within Europe in 2011. French online users will spend €31.9 million on online video content in 2011 which will represent 21% of the Western European market.
