Global Internet Kids (6-12 yo) Spend 7.4 Hours Weekly Using a Computer
According to the study, entitled « New Definition of Childhood »*, children (ages 6-12) around the world spend an average of 7.4 hours weekly using a computer.
This study also highlights that kids in developing countries are more technology savvy and better equipped. For instance, Brazilian kids spend an average of 12.6 hours weekly using a computer compared to 5.1 hours for German children.
*Source: « New Definition of Childhood » carried out by The Marketing Store; 4,257 children aged 6-12 years in 12 countries in 12 countries (U.S., Canada, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Poland, Brazil, Mexico, Japan, China, Australia) were surveyed online between February-March 2012.
