French digital music sales grew by 13% in 2012
According to the last figures issued by the SNEP, the French digital music has generated €125 million revenues in 2012 and has increased by 13% from 2011, while physical music sales declined by 12%.
In 2012, digital music sales took a 25% market share of all music purchases.
The subscription model is the main driver of the French music market. Indeed, this segment has increased by 36.6% in 2012 representing 28% of the digital music market.
