Internet: The first channel in the buying decision process

Havas Worldwide in a study titled « Digital and the New Consumer » analyzed the new consumer trends across 31 countries worldwide.
According to this study, the Internet plays a leading role in the consumer purchase decision process: “Almost two-thirds (64%) of global consumers say that for major purchase decisions (e.g., appliances, cars) their first stop is usually the Internet”.
