Game playing is predominantly mobile activity in the US

Among US web users, smartphone and tablet account for 82% of time spent playing online games, overtaking by far the PC (18%).

Looking at the age breakdown, the use of tablet for accessing gaming content is more common for people aged over 50 years old. Indeed, among them, tablets represent half of all time gaming with the Internet.

However this does not mean that it is the end of PC for online gaming. Indeed, in terms of page views, PC is still higher than other plaforms during daytime.
