UK : Majority of m-commerce sales will occur on tablets this year

According to eMarketer’s latest forecasts on the UK market, for the first time, more mobile commerce sales will occur on tablets than smartphones this year. Tablets will account for 58% of all retail mcommerce sales in the UK this year.

Tablet commerce is expected to triple this year and take 10.4% of total UK retail e-commerce sales.

The exploding growth of retail sales via tablets is set to continue. By 2015, tablet commerce will be more than twice that on smartphones, and by 2017, it will approach three times the amount.
