USA: Digital interactions influence 36% of in-store sales
A recent study released by Deloitte « The New Digital Divide » proves that digital has a significant effect on in-store shopping behavior. Indeed, according to the report, today in the U.S., digital interactions drive 36% of in-stores sales and this number will likely to increase to 50% by year end. Moreover, digitally connected shoppers convert at a 40% higher rate than people not consulting devices, and 22% of them spend more as a result.
From this report, it is clear that retailers have to create integrated digital strategies.
