Online video will be the fastest growing of all forms of advertising, according to PwC
PwC’s annual « Global Entertainment and Media Outlook 2014-2018 » report released yesterday highlights once again the exploding growth of online video advertising spending.
According to the study, video’s share of the overall Internet advertising revenue pie has more than doubled in the last six years, and online video advertising revenue is expected to continue to register strong growth. Within Internet advertising, video will be the fastest growing segment. Global video Internet advertising revenue will rise at a 23.8% CAGR to 2018, ahead of mobile (CAGR : 21.5%).
