UK set to be first country in which more than half of ad spend goes digital

The report, “This Year, Next Year: U.K. Media and Marketing Forecasts” released last week by GroupM predicts that U.K. digital spending will reach £8.1 billion ($12.6 billion) in 2015, making the UK the first country where over half of all ad spend goes to digital.

Countries set to soon follow include Sweden, where 47% of total ad spend will be digital, Denmark (43%), Australia (42%) and Norway (40%).
