US: Programmatic Digital Video Ad Spending will increase fivefold between 2014 and 2016

In the US, programmatic digital video ad spending is expected to explode, according to eMarketer.

  • In 2015, US advertisers will double their spending on programmatic digital video display advertising to reach $2.18 billion.
  • In 2 years, between 2014 and 2016, programmatic digital video ad spending will increase fivefold.
  • In 2016,  programmatically traded dollars will account for 40% of all US digital video ad spending.

Moreover, eMarketer notes that digital video is the fastest-growing area of programmatic investment.
