US : Digital estimated to capture 47% of daily media time this year and mobile to account for 51% of digital time

According to eMarketer’s latest estimates, US adults will spend 47% of their daily media time with digital media this year. The majority (51%) of that digital time will be spent with the mobile internet, which will have seen a compound annual growth rate of 37.2% between 2011 and 2015. TV will occupy the second-largest  of adults’ daily media time, at 4-and-a-quarter hours this year, down less than 20 minutes from 2011.
